Decisions. Decisions. Decisions.

So we have narrowed it down to 3 story plots:

1. Kidnapping
2. Past loved one
3. Something to do with time/trippy/cool/deep theme/scary drama/, etc.

We have narrowed it down to these three types of dramas. As movies like Taken have done great in the box office, kidnapping could always be an option. Past loved one seems a bit cliche but if we do it right we will be able to pull it off. The third choice is really unpredictable. We do not know if it is going to work out for us or not. We are going to decide towards which plot to go towards based on our stylistic approach to this opening. My group and I really want to do everything different and sort of create a new window for imagination. All our ideas and scenes want to appear as original as possible. Inclusively, Juan mentioned that our characters have to have a much deeper story to them so the viewer could be much more intrigued. As mentioned in The Script Lab, drama adds a personalized and realistic experience for any viewer. It is almost as any person that watches a drama can relate to the main protagonist as the scenes and actions that are occurring are real life events. "Drama films aim to tell an honest story of human struggle."
